13 August 2008 - After being hosted for a few months on a temporary web site the
e-learning package is now running directly from the ROADEX web site's server.

24 March 2008 - Final reports and videos published on this web site.

21 February 2008 - Steering Committee and potential new partners from Greenland, Russia and Ireland meet in Rovaniemi, Finland to prepare ideas for future ROADEX research.

31 December 2007 - NPP funding window closed.

Seminars in Sweden have been held at the Swedish Road Administration head office in Borlänge March 22th, at Hotel Nordkalotten in Luleå March 26th and Hotel Södra Berget in Sundsvall March 27th. Poster + Programme and registration form. This brings the number of delegates attending ROADEX III seminars to 400!

Greenland seminars delivered at the Arctic Roads Conference attended by around 100 with delegates from Canada, Iceland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Finland and Russia.

Very successful seminars have been held in Inverness at The Highland Council and Forest Enterprise offices and in Stornoway at the Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar offices over the last 3 days. Very positive feedback has been received from delegates with helpful comments on aspects of their running which will be used to improve and develop the remaining programme.

The European Union ROADEX Project is an INTERREG IIIB EU trans-national roads collaboration between northern roads districts of Finland, Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Scotland and Sweden that aims to develop new ways for interactive and innovative management of low traffic volume roads across the northern periphery of Europe.

November 2006 - The ROADEX Project was invited to present the main findings of the ROADEX II Project to the seminar on “The Management of Low Traffic Roads” held in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, Russia on 1-3 November 2006. Four ROADEX speakers took part, T Saarenketo, J Ullberg, S Johansson and Professor P Kolisoja, and 8 presentations were made to the delegates present. Four main ROADEX II reports were also translated into the Russian language and these are available for download in pdf format.

Проект «ROADEX» был приглашен на семинар по теме «Управление дорогами с низкой интенсивностью движения», проведенный в г. Петрозаводске, в Республике Карелия, России с 1 по 3 ноября 2006 года для презентации результатов проекта «ROADEX II». Четыре докладчика - г-н Т. Сааренкето, г-н Й.Уллберг, г-н С. Юханссон и профессов П. Колисойя - участвовало с 8 презентациями для участников семинара. Кроме того, четыре основных отчета по «ROADEX II» были переведены на русский язык. Их можно загрузить в формате «pdf».
