However, recent research indicates that the quality and practices of winter maintenance also have a significant impact on the life-cycle costs of paved roads. Delayed winter maintenance measures can even double the calculated annual life cycle costs of pavement. This webinar focuses on describing those winter maintenance measures that have been found to substantially reduce the annual pavement costs.
